Dizengoff Avenue Hotel: superbly located, this is one to consider if you want to be in the heart of the action!

We recently came across the Dizengoff Avenue Hotel in Tel Aviv and have to say, loved it!

If you were looking for a hotel centrally located with very decent rooms and excellent, courteous service, you’ll seriously be hard-pressed to find something of better value!

Quietly impressed by the location, right at the heart of Dizengoff’s ever-growing action, we were wowed by the staff greeting us, who immediately offered us a tasty chili lemonade drink and some wine.

Dizengoff Avenue HotelWe were even more impressed by the rooms, which are all based on Tel Aviv neighborhoods and unique sites. For example, we stayed in Room 27, which is the Old Jaffa room – our neighbors were Suzanne Dellal and Sheinkin Gardens!

It might seem a bit cramped in the hallways on each floor – after all, this is central Tel Aviv, where space is at a premium – but the rooms themselves are spacious and decorated nicely, in an urban black and white style, with huge pictures on the wall of the relevant site/neighborhood. Nicely done, and if you get a room with a balcony, even better! There is also a kitchenette for those who need it.

Being right on Dizengoff Street, we thought the street noise might be a bit too much, but to be honest, didn’t hear a thing.

This looks like a truly great option for central Tel Aviv, and the price range is doable for many (seems to range from $100 – $250 a night, depending on the season). It doesn’t appear to be so family friendly though, although there is an option to add another child-size bed in your room, perfect if there’s 3 of you!
